Spin Weld Fitting 2" Slip Fitting

2" refers to the inside diameter of the PVC pipe that is going into the fitting, not the size of the fitting itself

A "slip fitting" is made so that a pvc pipe can slide INTO it. (In pvc fittings, the pipe is usually glued to the inside of the slip fitting. In our PE slip fittings, a caulked pipe is slid into the proper sized fitting and secured with a worm-gear clamp).
